Mixed Exotic Hardwood Cutting Board with Bark

This cutting board is a mixture of imported exotic hardwoods and locally sourced Wisconsin natural woods.

This mixed exotic hardwood cutting board with bark is an eye popping display of the most exquisite woods you can find combined with a natural rustic edge. We take imported exotic hardwoods, and combined them with local natural woods sourced from our very own Wisconsin woods (naturally of course, from already fallen trees, per usual). The result, as you can see, is a stunning show piece of a cutting board and serving tray.

The imported exotic woods we used are Padauk, Zebrawood, Purpleheart and Merbau. The middle and edge strips with bark are the local Wisconsin pieces, typically Ash, Maple or Oak. The various grains and all natural colors come together seamlessly and the result is beautiful.

One side of this board is finished with 4 coats of all natural cutting board oils and conditioners. The other side and the bark is coated in a polyeurathane to create a smooth, water proof, easy to clean surface perfect for a serving tray.
